My Secret Valentine gift has arrived!

So … I don’t do Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t a thing over here until very recently and I personally still don’t see the appeal. But when Sanae announced this year’s Secret Valentine Exchange, I really liked the idea and decided to ignore that it was loosely Valentine’s Day themed. I love sending and receiving snail mail and I obviously love handmade things, so I signed up.

I don’t think that the gift I sent has arrived yet, so I can’t post about that yet, but let me show you what I got! Here it is:

Okay, just teasing … Here we go:

Look at that texture! Isn’t that fun? I love the grey felt with the holes in it, and the leather bands that it is sewn together with. And I love the combination of yellow and grey!

Aha, you want to know who my gift is from? Well, that would be Anna in Denmark, a.k.a. “Mix + Stitch”! Look at that adorable leather label! I might have to steal that idea.

And Anna has even included some extra flowers for me to make something with myself. How fun!
